The first stop on the trip was at the World War II Memorial in DC. This memorial was amazing! There was a ceremony that happened right in the middle of the monument and tons of people joined in and participated in the ceremony. All 55 of the Veterans were lined up and ready to go. It was an incredible experience that I will never forget.

Puget Sound Honor Flight
It was such an honor to be able to a part of this amazing expedition to Washington DC to see all of the WWII Memorials and Monuments! I was the guardian for one of the Vets and I was able to help him see all of these amazing places all over the Washington DC area. Each place was an amazing experience and we had nice dinner celebrations each night as well at the BWI Hilton Hotel. Overall, it was an amazing trip and I am so glad that I was able to go. I will be posting different posts about the some of the memorials and monuments that we saw. Each one was related to WWII in one way or another. There are lots of pictures, but they are worth looking at. Below are some photos of the trip as a whole, enjoy!

Feels Like Summer
This weather has been absolutely amazing and it really has felt like it's August, not April and Early May here in the PNW. I am not complaining though. We have been going to the beach often and loving all of the fun in the sun!
