Lake Quinault Lodge

Towards the end of summer our friends found a great deal on a room at the Lake Quinault Lodge and we immediately booked reservations .  This place has been on our to do list for quite some time. We arrived in the evening after the 2+ hour drive and it was raining , wet and dark.  We got checked into our boat house room and headed straight for the swimming pool. We met up with a couple other families and had a great time at the pool.  Then we played some pool and pong pong and hung out in the amazing lobby with a grand fireplace. There were puzzles and games to play as well.

When we woke up the next morning, the rain had stopped and the view of the lake and the lodge were amazing. We played around on the shore of the lake and all around the grounds of the lodge.  It was an awesome place to visit!  We ended up hiking all around the Quinault Rain Forest that day and saw some amazing trees, rivers and waterfalls.  I am sure we will be going back to this place in the future. 

Pictures

Last weekend we planned to have the kiddos pictures taken.  D was not feeling that well the day before but seemed to be fine the day of the pictures.  The older kiddos did great and baby R needed some extra love and attention.  There were still a few good shots and it's nice to capture their little faces and personalities at this stage of their lives.  T is 6, D is 3 (and a half) and baby R is almost 1.  These little kiddos are growing up way too fast, but I sure do enjoy being their father and a part of their lives. 

ADELE- Hello Cover (Remix)- Ali Shields and Trevor Okoren

Adele's new song Hello dropped last week and it's pretty amazing!  My cousin Ali is an amazing musician and came up with her own version/cover of Hello.  I have had it on repeat all weekend, enjoy and Happy Monday!
