Chambers Bay Fields

I love living just over a mile away from Chambers Bay.  We spend a lot of time either running/walking/scootering around the golf course on the trails, or we will be on the grassy fields playing, or crossing the fun bridge to go see the water.  The views of the Puget Sound are always amazing from anywhere around the course as well.  When I usually go running, I leave from my house and run down to the top part of the trail and then run back home.  I can make the loop anywhere from 3-7 miles, it's perfect depending on how much energy I have for that day. 
These pictures were taken last summer.  This summer they have transformed all of our favorite areas into the golf village for the 2015 US OPEN.  It all looks so different.  We were able to get down there last weekend and explore the gold village and pick up a few items as well.  There was tons of security and people, but the process flowed pretty smoothly.  We should have our original Chambers Bay back to normal by the end of the summer.  Go on by and check it out, you will not be disappointed.
