This hike was very kid friendly. The trail has dirt, boardwalks and stumps that the kids can hop along. It kept them entertained the entire time and they never asked when we were going to be there. They were loving the trail and the scenery just as much as I was. The rain didn't slow us down either. The kiddos jumped in all of the puddles and really had a fun time getting wet along the way. I highly recommend this hike to anyone, it is worth the drive! I am sure we will be back again to soak up the amazing views and scenery!

Cape Flattery Hike
Last weekend while the wifey and baby were away, the kiddos and I took off early on Saturday morning and explored the Olympic Peninsula. We had a jam packed day and it was totally worth all the time we spent in the car. We stopped off in Port Angeles on the way up to Neah Bay to pick up some Donuts, and then headed along highway 112 which was right on the coast. There were tons of turns on the road and the speed limit was slower so it took quite a while to get to Neah Bay. Once we were there, we stopped at the Museum to look around, we bought our pass and then grabbed a quick lunch before heading to the trail head. The rain was coming down when we got there, but that didn't stop us. We hiked all that way to the viewpoints and enjoyed the amazing trail and views. The kiddos did really well on the hike and it was a great experience. Plus, now we can say we have been to the northwest tip of the United States, how cool is that?
