Cruising down the 101

After we finished hiking around the Hall of Mosses, we packed up in the car again and headed down the 101.  We had music playing and were having a good time.  After driving for a bit, we spotted an awesome beach and had to stop.  We pulled over, hiked a couple hundred feet and found an awesome beach with with dark sand.  The kiddos ran straight for the water.  It was overcast, but that didn't stop them.  They got soaking wet and had a blast playing in the waves and in the sand for the next hour or so.  We played along the beach and explored a little more as well until it got a little too dark and we realized that we still had a 2.5 hour drive home....... The views were amazing and it was a great way to end the day and totally worth it.
