Westport, WA

We had a great weekend exploring the city of Westport and the beach this past weekend.  It was just under a 2 hour drive to the coast from our house.  The drive was scenic and went by quickly.  Our family was in town from Portland, and Scotty wanted to surf, so we headed to the beach.  It was sunny and warm for most of our time on the sand, although it did get a little windy in the late afternoon.  We played in the water, made sand castles, raced in the sand and explored the rocks on the jetty.  It was a great way to spend a Saturday.
