The weather was cool in the morning and we were glad we had our sweatshirts for the day. The sun was out though and the views were amazing. We really do live in a beautiful world. Once we got to the island, we drove around looking for something fun and unique to do. We stopped at two local farmers markets, went on a hike, played at a couple different beaches and parks. We also played at Fort Casey and got to tour a lighthouse. It was a full fun day and the next few posts will show that.

Whidbey Island
Over the holiday weekend the kiddos were up ready to go at 7:15 am and they wanted to go on an adventure. I pulled myself out of bed, took a quick shower and we were out of the house by 8 am. We had no plan or schedule that day and ended up going north towards Seattle. We passed through downtown and ended up at the ferry terminal Mukelito headed out for Whidbey Island. We have never been on this ferry and were excited.
