Point Wilson Lighthouse

While up in Port Townsend I spent some time running the trails around Fort Worden State Park.  They have amazing views and there is another awesome lighthouse on the far northern tip of the park. There is something about light houses that is calming.  I love going to all of the different ones that are all around the Puget Sound area. 

South Sound Walk to End Alzheimer's

This year's Walk to End Alzheimer's was a success!  Thank you to everyone who came to walk, gave a donation or volunteered!  Thanks to all of this amazing help we were able to fund raise over $120,000 at this walk!  THANK YOU!
The walk was at the University of Puget Sound on their beautiful campus.  It was great to get some of the students involved as well and it was a successful day!

Cape Flattery

Some of our friends that we went camping with wanted to hike Cape Flattery after our last trip out there so we headed up to Neah Bay after camping and had a warm sunny day for the hike.  As you can see in the picture below, we hikes where the blue dot is, and it's really cool because it is as far Northwest as you can get in the lower 48 states!  That is amazing to me!  We hikes as far as you could go in WA state and in the United States, in fact we have done it twice!

Below are some of the pictures from the hike.  The sun was shining and the views were spectacular.  The kiddos had a great time and the hike was entertaining for them as well.
