Walk to End Alzheimer's

Most people in the United States have heard of Alzheimer's disease or know someone who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.  With my current job, I am able to associate with many Seniors who suffer from this disease and I also get to volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association.  With that being said, I am the chair for the South Sound/Tacoma Walk to End Alzheimer's.  I am working with a committee of 10+ amazing volunteers to help plan and coordinate this event.

We have all been working over the past year to recruit 16+ sponsors, team captains, while reaching out to local  businesses and corporations to see how they can all be involved.  We have received sponsorships, donations, food and drinks, volunteers and money from so many in the Pierce County area.  It has been amazing.  Thanks to all of those who have helped and donated in one way or another.  With that being said, there is still more to do!  We are about 1 month away from the walk this year and we are still looking at getting more people registered for the walk and looking at finalizing the logistics for the day of the walk.  If you would like to be a part and help out in any way, then please click on the links below.
