Last weekend the kiddos and I spent some time playing around on the bridge of glass and all around the glass museum, union station and the waterfront. It was a cloudy and overcast morning, where the air was cool and felt good as we ran all over downtown. There are some amazing outdoor art exhibits all around this part of town. The Chihuly glass it always beautiful and the kiddos love to find their favorite pieces that are on the street display. It was a great way to spend the morning.

Exploring Bremerton & Port Orchard
We spent the rest of the time exploring some parks, waterfront areas on both of these towns. We had a little rain on us but nothing that could stop us from stopping to play from a couple playgrounds. It was nice to explore some new towns and see what else WA has to offer, especially during the fall when the leaves are changing colors.

The Puget Sound Navy Museum
Last weekend when it was a little rainy, we headed across the bridge to explore Port Orchard and Bremerton. Because of the rain we spend a couple hours in the Puget Sound Navy Museum. It was an awesome, kid friendly and very interactive museum down on the waterfront. The kiddos had a great time and I am sure we will go back and visit again.

Admirality Head Lighthouse
After exploring Fort Casey we headed up the road a little to see the lighthouse. Now, we have been to quite a few lighthouses around the PNW and this one was open and you could climb all the way to the top! It was awesome. They had a little gift shop, museum and some other fun stuff to look at. He went up to the top and enjoyed the amazing views from the lighthouse. We all had a great time and I love seeing my kiddos faces when we explore new places and have new adventures.
