Boating on Utah Lake

Last week we took our annual summer vacation to visit family and friends in UT and NV.  We also made pit stops in ID, CA and OR to explore some fun places, rivers and lakes as well.  It was a great trip and we enjoyed seeing those that we could.  It's always hard to see everyone when we visit since we have so many close family and friends where we use to live.

While in Utah we spend one day boating on Utah Lake.  The water was warm, the weather was hot and the views of the mountains were amazing!  I really do miss those mountains.  My brother and his family were nice enough to invite us out on their boat.  We skied, wake boarded, knee boarded and tubed!  T loved the knee board and the tube with his cousins. It was good for T to get behind the boat.  I grew up boating and I hope he enjoys it as much as I do.  Plus, I need to get him prepped for Lake Powell.  One of these summers I will take him again so he can enjoy some of the great memories that I had as a kid enjoying the beauty of Lake Powell! 

Seahurst Park

The wifey and baby R were away on a girls weekend earlier this month, they had a fun time playing on the beach in Southern CA and we had fun exploring around WA a little but more.  We found this fun park up close to the Airport that we spend some time at before picking them up at the airport.  The views were amazing and the park was fun too.  There were a bunch of trails, a fun beach and a little park with slides and swings too.  We will add it to our favorite park list! 

iPhone Pictures

I bought a new camera last year for myself.  I have wanted to purchase a new one for quite some time.  I finally saved up some money and broke down and bought a Nikon D3300.  It's nothing too fancy, but it works for me and what I wanted.  I love the camera and use it often, but I still love how quick and easy it is to take picture with my iphone 6.
So, without getting into too many details about phones and cameras, I still like to post pictures from the iphone.  So here are some of my favorites from the last month or so on my phone.  Enjoy!
