Kalaloch Beach Camping

For part of the long Labor Day Weekend we spent a few days camping on the coast with some friends.  The campground was literally on the beach.  When we woke up in the morning, T was so excited that he could hear the waves crashing all night long.  We spent hours upon hours at the beach playing and exploring. It was great weather and we had a blast exploring more and more! 

Deception Pass

This was our second time visiting Deception Pass.  We went two years ago over the Labor Day weekend as well before we took the ferry over to the San Juan Islands.  We spent a little more time hiking around and exploring on both sides of the bridge this time.  The views are amazing!  I know I say that a lot, but it's the truth, we really do live in a beautiful place and I want my kids to know and remember that.  I want them to have experiences and adventures so they can learn new things, meet new people and see new things.  It's important that they get out and explore and it will help them push themselves in so many ways.

If you haven't been to Deception Pass then plan a trip already and make it happen.  It is totally worth the drive up north.
