Waimea Canyon

We spent time up the hills in Wiamea Canyon. We visited  a few of the look outs and hiked around on Sunday afternoon with everyone.  The views were amazing and it was great to see all the red rock, sand and dirt.  It felt a little like Southern Utah.

HAWAII

My mom is turning 60 this month and she planned a trip for all of her kids and their spouses to go to Hawaii!  We spent a great week on the island of Kauai.  It was a great way to spend time with the family, enjoy the warmer temperatures and relax before 2016 starts!  I took a ton of pictures, here are a few to get started and I will post separate posts about other stuff that we did.  What a fun trip! 

Christmas 2015

We had a great Christmas this year!  The kiddos are at great ages to truly appreciate this magical time of year! We had a delicious salmon dinner on Christmas Eve, then we headed over to our friends house for a celebration that night with games and stories.  The kiddos hurried home and headed off to bed right away.  Surprisingly, they slept in past 8 am on Christmas Day!  We had a great time opening presents and then playing non stop all day long!
We did take a break in the evening to have dinner with some friends and then came home and played more and more.  It was a great Christmas with out little family here in the Pacific Northwest!
