Point Robinson on Vashon Island

Sometimes you just have to pack up the family and head out for a weekend adventure.  This is exactly what we did on the Fourth of July.  The heat had been getting to all of us, so we loaded up, took the ferry over from Point Defiance to Vashon Island.  The ferry ride over was beautiful!  The views were amazing, especially seeing Mt. Rainier.  We spent quite a few hours at the Point Robinson Park exploring.  The tide was super low so there were tons of little critters and star fish to explore.  The kiddos had a fun time running around and playing in the sand and water.  The views were spectacular and we enjoyed our our picnic lunch.  It was a great way to spend a hot Saturday afternoon.
