My kiddos sure do love seeing their cousins. They are lucky to have some on both sides of the family. They have so many of them at all different ages. They have a special bond with some of their cousins, because my brother is married to my wifey's sister, they are even closer with their 'double cousins' as we call them. I know it sounds weird, but it's perfectly normal and it happens more than you would think. They love spending time with all of the cousins and because we live far from them, they seem to get even more excited when we do see them. They all had a blast playing while we were in Utah a couple weeks ago. It's great as a parent to see the relationships and connections that even children make. They learn from each other and want to be involved in each others lives. It's great to let them have these familiar relationships and even when we are away from them, they talk about them and look forward to the next visit with all of their cousins.
