Museum of Glass - Tacoma

We have visited most of the museums that Tacoma has to offer.  The exhibit at the Museum of Glass late last year, was one of our favorites.  They had tons of letter that lit up and the kiddos had a blast trying to spell their names, wear the letters and just playing with them in general.  It was a fun and interactive exhibit.  It's nice that they rotate the exhibits, then each time we go there will be something new for us to enjoy.
The museum also has a theater where you can watch a film about blowing glass and they have tons of kid glass pieces on display as well they are so unique and clever.  To finish the trip off we spent some time in the hot shop actually watching the glass makers blow glass and make stuff right there.  They usually have a featured artist that is there as well that will answer questions and make it fun and interactive for the kiddos as well.  It is a fun experience and I highly recommend it.
