Sunnyside Beach

Last weekend we stayed here locally and spend all day on Saturday at Sunnyside Beach in Steilacoom.  This is our favorite local beach.  It is just a few miles from our house, there are parts of the beach that are sandy and the views of the islands and the Olympic mountains are beautiful!
The kiddos love to bring all of their sand toys and even though the water is cold we still dip in to cool off, especially this weekend since it was 90 + degrees outside.  The kiddos are getting a pretty good sun tan too.  We have to take advantage of these hot summer days, since we may get a rainy wet winter.
